Chenille Headboards
Chenille gets its name from its similarity to the soft, fuzzy hair of a caterpillar (the French word for which is Chenille) and is most commonly made form cotton. It looks and feels very soft and enticing, making it a great material for headboards, especially if you like to lean on your headboard when sitting in bed. Although Chenille has been manufactured since the 1700s, its production process was only truly perfected in the 1990s when a method was found which ensured better durability of the fabric.
